Participants gained a comprehensive understanding of key concepts such as job descriptions, organizational charts, process management, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The interactive sessions facilitated engaging discussions and knowledge sharing among attendees.

Why are HRM and OD Important?

In today’s competitive business landscape, effective HRM and OD are crucial for a company’s growth and success. HRM focuses on managing an organization’s most valuable asset – its people. Strong HRM practices, such as clear job descriptions and effective recruitment strategies, ensure that businesses attract, retain, and develop the right talent. This leads to increased employee engagement, productivity, and ultimately, better business outcomes.

OD focuses on aligning an organization’s structure, processes, and culture with its strategic goals. By implementing sound OD principles, businesses can improve efficiency, adapt to change more easily, and foster a positive work environment. This includes optimizing processes through SOPs, ensuring clear organizational structures, and promoting effective communication. Together, HRM and OD create a foundation for sustainable growth and competitiveness.

GIZ ICONE remains committed to supporting the growth and development of national enterprises through initiatives that enhance their competitiveness and sustainability. This workshop serves as a testament to their ongoing efforts in fostering a thriving business environment in Cambodia.
